Past Due Update

Wow, where to begin. It's been awhile since I updated, so let's start with the last post. I did not get a kitty, but I did get a wonderful little (well...."little") puppy. About 2 weeks ago, I bought Kerri and Alex a puppy we found at Pet Kare on Rt. 40. She is a three-month old German Shepherd/Husky mix, and we named her Kylie. She is probably the goofiest dog I have ever seen, but she is very good and we don't have many problems with her at all. She's very smart (both breeds in her mix are very intelligent dogs) but we think she lacks common sense. She does some pretty dumb stuff sometimes. Her favorite chew toy seems to be her tail, closely followed by her front paws. She's also missing an ear. The pet store was told it had accidentaly been cut off with the umbilical cord, but we think another dog might've bit it off, because we think she might have been in a neglected or abusive situation. Either way, she is ours now and we love her very much. I'll put some pictures of her at the bottom...

OK...so Kerri and I are finally engaged!!!!! She went to Florida this weekend to visit a friend who moved down there, and on the way there, the girl who was driving to the BWI airport had car trouble, so they had to have the car towed, and asked me to come pick them up on Monday when they returned. So I decided this was a good time to surprise her. When she came through the airport, I was waiting with a sign that had her name on it, and she laughed when she saw it and thought I was just kidding around. But then I flipped the second half of the sign down from behind her name, and it said "Will you marry me?" with a big red heart in the center. She was absolutely shocked, and had no idea that it was coming. Then I gave her a dozen red roses, and got down on one knee and proposed. So she now has her ring, (about 1 1/2 carets altogether) and we are officially engaged. So we're excited. I'm going out to lunch today at noon, so I need to go shower and get cleaned up. I'll try to update a bit more frequently in the future. Goodbye.
